P+P Non Ferrous, Sheffield & Birmingham

For over 29 years P+P Non-Ferrous have been one of the largest independent Metal stockholders in the UK. Feeling the need for some freshness, they came to us needing modernising, from their brand to their marketing. We feel the results speak for themselves.

When you are an industry authority for nearly 30 years, you amass a large amount of brand recognition. With this in mind we decided the appropriate action would be to modernise their existing brand rather than implement a complete re-brand, the results of which can be seen in the images above. It is an embodiment of the strong, no-nonsense world of the metals industry and maintains the recognisable features of the existing brand. It was the best of both worlds for our client, we provided a brand which can continue to be used in the modern world, but is still recognisable of the P+P the industry loves. With the branding ‘in the bag’ it was time for an overhaul of the brochure which P+P had used for many years.  

Previously it had been assumed that images of metal were not a selling point and the brochures were based around technical wording. Deciding to flip the script we designed a brochure focussed on imaging and informative, but easy to read text. The images we selected injected colours which provided great contrast against the cool blues and silvers we used as the brochures staple. Inevitably your eyes are drawn the imagery which served to both showcase the quality of the product and provide an instant overview to the brochures purpose. The results can be seen in the gallery above – we love it and the feedback from P+P’s clients has been overwhelmingly positive. We look forward to rolling up our sleeves and starting work on their next project.
